Frida Community Organization is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization established in August 2002, serving the Latino community throughout Chicago and its suburbs. Frida serves the community as an agent of change in people's lives and the development of strong and thriving neighborhoods.
Through a multiple-pronged approach, it addresses the various factors that are critical to the Latino community: Immigration, Education, Health, and Leadership Development.
Frida Community Organization strives to provide access to services and resources that improve the quality of life and increase public participation in the Latino community.
WHO ARE WE?
We build strong partnerships
with the Chicago Public Schools (CPS) through the financial support of private, federal, state, and local government foundations.
Since 2003,
we have developed different programs with more than 200 schools in Chicago and the suburbs.
For more than two decades we have helped transform the lives of thousands of families.
